BAD SHIPPING PROCEDURES

LTD Commodities complaint
I'm glad to see that I am not the only one who sees through this shipping scam. Actually this is how they make their money(backorders, multiple boxes, etc). To add insult to injury they do not state their shipping practices and therefore, after each order there is no indication of what shipping charges you may expect.

I worked for a company who sold parts for radio's and their policy was to place an order, calculate shipping charges at the time of order and advise customer of the "total" charges he would be billed. Consequently, if we did not have some parts in stock we shipped the backorder at our expense. Also, we tried to utilize the smallest package (sometimes using small padded envelopes) that would accomodate the part being shipped.

Maybe a class action law suit is in order. I would venture to guess that all companies doing business with the consumer, by law ,must indicate "total" charges per order. Now that I think about it I do not believe they even discuss shipping charges.

I have just emailed LTD about the practise of shipping orders in as many packages as humanly possible my last order of 5 things sent in 4 boxes. as this has happened with the last 3 orders I have placed I would assume that this is now the policy of LTD. and how can you pay an upfront total on a bill you do not have all the shipping charges included.? if there is a class action please include me in it. I order and have sent to mother in laws as I am now in australia. so I get double shipping when she sends to me after she has repackaged

I ORDERED OVER A MONTH AGO. I STILL DON'T HAVE AN OF THE THINGS I ORDERED THEN THEY SENT ME A POST CARD SAYING I HAD TO PAY UP FRONT SO I SENT A CHECK THEN THEY SAIDD 3 OF MY SIX THINGS WERE ON BACK ORDER AND THEY STILL HAVE NOT SENT ANYTHING TO ME AND I HAVE ALREADY SENT THEM A CHECK A MONTH AGO.

When you order any thing on line you always know what the total is..Even when you do business overseas..This company is going to loose alot of their customers if they don't do something about their shipping policy ..I very well dam sure the products they sell in this book their suppliers don't have the same shipping practice..Humm something to think about
